About
Sciamp is a two-sided scientific marketplace designed to facilitate connections between scientists and universities for the rapid execution of diverse tasks.
Task
The initial design was done without any consideration of the future development, conversion or being moderately modern. The frustration of the CEO was completely understandable and our suggestion was to redesign the roadmap. Throughout the first design sessions we discovered the key company differentiators and suggested our vision of the minimum commercially viable product. With that in mind, we structured a clear technology roadmap with cross-team milestones deliverables and suggested design which was easy to integrate.
Process
Week: 1-3
Almost every day we had discovery calls and meeting with the CEO. Then we analysed and learned about science marketplaces work and suggested ways to improve the current roadmap.
Week: 4-8
Adjusted Designs and released PoC
Week: 9
The first signup and the first convertable customer.
Week: 10-17
MVP of the product with bare minimum functionality.
Week: 17-18
Reviewed customer response and accessibility
Week: 19-43
Iterated over the next 16 sprints to bring fully featured product to the market
